Will Downtown Oakland have affordable places for youth, what about more parks and playgrounds, bike and skateboard friendly access, will gentrification push their families out of neighborhoods?

Oakland students asked those and many other thought-provoking questions in a sit-down session with Mayor Libby Schaaf. Here’s the latest edition of Youth Focus: Oakland’s Future!

Many thanks to students and teachers from Skyline and MetWest, Y-PLAN at UC Berkeley, the student studio crew from Media Enterprise Alliance, the Department of Civic Engagement for OUSD and of course, KDOL TV!!
